Real time data triggers light... sigh
Voltage drops from 13.6 to 12.8 double downward spike at 20 seconds and both little lights come on and stay on (see photo) but afterwards voltage is steady yet lights don't go out till out of real time.. P.S. I still don't have my new brake light switch as it's in customs till after the muslim holidays 27th August... Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk

Those are related to it being dark out. If you are getting a voltage drop more than likely some big load is coming online like headlights.
Make sure the light sensor on the dash is clean. I'm not even sure where it is but I've covered it with my hand or iPhone and had my dashboard get dim on me. Do to have a level two scanner yet that you can actually monitor the light sensor?

No level2 scanner yet, but those lights came on only during real time data and the sun was full on the passenger side at the time and I watched it come on. The 2 downward spikes happened about 2 milliseconds apart yet once those spikes happened it all went back to normal, except for those lights wouldn't go off or reset until vehicle restart.
For some reason expecting the other shoe to drop seems like the prudent course. I'm making a run to the Kingdom of Bahrain so I'm sure any big screw me issues will happen crossing the edge of the empty quarter or the 26km bridge into Bahrain. If it only happened when you have the voltage meter attached some noise on the line could be sending a signal but I'm not sure you answered the question.
Unless there was a problem with voltage delivery (alternator) you should have constant voltage. A dip in voltage should only come from a demand in power. If something asked the headlights to come on that would explain both the courtesy lights and voltage dip. Definitely check if the headlights came on. Do you have automatic lights?
