If you have a SOS button on the upper panel by the sunroof switch and microphone area, then you have BMW Assist.

Hey Thanks, I do have Assists. Another question though, do I have to pay for this Assists if I have to get a hold of them for SOS?

I really want to do this Assist to Bluetooth. Does this bring up problems with the warranty? Thanks.

BMW provides the Assist service for the first year free of charge. You must pay for the service thereafter.

There are no warranty issues with doing the Assist to BT conversion. However BMW does want you to sign a waiver acknowledging that you have chosen to disable the Assist feature (but if you do the conversion yourself, there's nothing obligating you to sign anything) - see http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/BM...st_ULF_TSB.pdf

Do you know how much it might cost to have the dealership do this? I don't want to mess anything up.
