I watched this video yesterday. Looks like it isn't TOO difficult. Hardest part is getting in a good dust free environment. If you mess it up, it's not to hard to re-do it either. Refreshed trim does a LOT for the overall appearance. SEM is top notch stuff. I think the Satin would be perfect for most BMWs that don't have gloss trim.

I've used Wurth too and concur with your findings!

only thing that wigs me out a BIT about that video is the single sanding stage with 320 grit. That seems a bit coarse for a final sanding unless the paint has some filler properties....which it very well might. They designed the paint specifically for that purpose after all. I doubt they are trying to dupe anybody.

I'd also be curious how the SEM stands up to UV and other harshness. If I'm gonna mask and sand...I don't want to do it again for a LONG time.
