The 4.8is was one of the fully loaded from factor cars, sans very few options for the US market. I think the M2/C is the only one in recent years to rival it.

Navigation (W/DSP) ($1800)
Heated Steering Wheel ($150)
Slide Load trunk floor ($380)
Rear Side door airbags ($385)
Sport / Comfort seat choices were N/C

As I recall running boards may have been a post-delivery dealer install option. I've never seen a build sheet code for them.

What I don't get is why there were not more orders for heated steering wheel! It was so inexpensive.

I agree about the heated wheel. I just installed one in mine. Love it.

Is there a 4.6iS for sale thread on here somewhere? I found a nice low mileage 2002 here for sale and would like to post it up for those interested.

Not sure if a new thread would be needed....probably just post it up here. Maybe we can change the thread title.

I wish 4.8's could be had with just sunroof vs pano roof. Then again though, the kids LOVE the pano roof.

And the 4.6's got all the cool interior stuff. At least we got 6spd transmissions I guess.

Being short, I don't like the sport seats, the lower side bolster is so stiff it makes it difficult to get into the car. I also prefer the wood grain trim to that bright silver trim. Very cool cars either way though.

Factory tow package seems a rare option too.

I feel like tow packages are about 50/50. I see a lot with them and about the same amount without.
Unless most put them on after like I did.
