Turning off turn signals as park lights?

Also something else I learned, by law/regulation taillights cannot be moved and must be fixed to the car. So since we have a opening lower hatch those lights don't light up as brake lights and maybe the reason the e53 didn't get the cool celis tails like the e39 during the facelift lol. Maybe at the time they just couldn't bother with it.

But they figured it out for the e70, would love to have this style on my e53.
