I replaced the bulb and still no difference. I'll take it out and put it in again to make sure but it still looks the same. In the pic below (taken at night) the camera is adjusting the light levels to make everything look good and consequently it makes the word "TIME" much brighter than it really is. Compare it with the 5:11PM. It is barely visible. If the bulb is working, where do I go from here? I have 4 new bulbs, should I try others? Thanks for any assistance. Sorry about it being vertical, I didn't load it that way!

Definitely a backlight bulb not lighting up. Whether it's due to a bad bulb, wiring, or contact, I don't know.

It's easy to mix up the old lamp with the new lamp when changing them... Just sayin'..

Thanks for the quick responses gentlemen, and both good points. I'll swap it out again tomorrow and see if I can't get it working. Glad to hear you both think its a bulb not the pixel problem, this is much cheaper!

With your help, I got the dash to light up as it should. Turns out the bulb I put in was fine, I had taken the wrong one out! I hadn't taken out the bad one..... Thanks for the help.

On a different issue, trying to get more light in front of me, I have purchased some 100 Watt bulbs to replace the "flash to pass" bulbs, I just need to figure out how to have them on only with the HB's. I also have some LEDs to replace the fogs. They arrive tomorrow, I will install them and see how they perform tomorrow night (in the rain). Supposedly my iCarly can code them to come on with the HBs also. Not sure where they will aim though. I have gotten my xenon's aimed properly and they just don't cut it. I don't know if they have been changed or are just old but the light output is mediocre at best. I don't want to sound like I don't like my Beemer but my last car had bixenons and they were much better than these. I must do something to improve light output. I read a thread yesterday where the OP kept referring to what I call the "flash to pass" lights as his high beams. Were these lights the high beam lights in some years? Seems such a waste to have the entire bulb, wiring, reflector etc. there and they are only used for a brief few seconds. anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks again for all the help. I will get this where I want it eventually!
