Door unlock- driver seat default, funny issue.
So, when I was working on the fuel pump, I left the rear seat on the floor board, with the middle seatbelt attached; to keep it outta my way, I wrapped the rear/middle seat belt around the driver seat head rest; it worked.
The ratcheting slack adjuster wouldn't give it up when it was time to put it back together......, it kept taking up slack like a boa constrictor. I decided to remove the D/S head rest, but the rear seat belt was still too tight. So I reclined the driver's seat as far back as it would go. The seat belt kept tightening, lol. But I managed to remove the head rest and free the seat belt, and finish the job. Here's the catch; when I unlock the car with a key or fob, the driver seat goes back to that same reclined position. I tried to re-program the D/Seat (to suit my Mediterranean heritage...), but it still reclines fully. PDF owner's manual doesn't seem to cover "possessed seats". Anyone else have this issue?
