Problem is I don't know if it's the butt sensor or the module. I can swap with wife's sensor to see if the problem migrates to my car to confirm.

I also have a working butt sensor from my old passenger seat I don't know if I can extract it to move it over. I'm sure it's molded into the foam or something.

The old seat is headed to the scrap heap so I think I'll cut it open to learn if nothing else.

I'd be willing to bet it's the sensor pad. And yes, it's a pain to remove and replace..that's why the emulator is such a great deal. Mine is a cygenic brand from Ireland (I live in Ohio).

I think I might just pull the pad out of the old seat and plug it in. If the error goes away I'll know.

Good plan. I hate warning lights. My latest one was the dsc/no 4x4 warning...turned out to be the yaw sensor....ugh!

I pulled the pin and got one on ebay too. From Ireland but SRSDRIVE is the maker/seller. Should be here next week.
