Oldmactech is on a distinguished road
Parts difference?

Needing odds/ends for head gasket repair. Replacing CCV, throttle body gaskets, intake gaskets, oil filter housing gasket etc. finding wild disparity in price online.

Example. Oil filter housing gasket is $65 on FCP Euro $5.50 at my local Autozone. CCV component kit $135 or $40 at Amazon.

Don’t want to be the “stepping over a dollar to pick up a nickel guy” but is there much point in paying up for some of this stuff?

I won’t scrimp on head gasket or bolts but, ok on some of the other bits?
