I tried reading through the entire thread but I didn't see anywhere where anyone mentioned the use of Ipod/iPhone for music. I see that you can hook an ipod up to the avant4 but have seen posts saying that you don't get any sort of playlist options and that you can only skip tracks. All my music is on apple products and I would really like to be able to use playlists. I know that the D* HU will display playlists, and also has a sirius tuner input, can anyone comment on that?

If any of our members are running aftermarket Android system with the iBus adapter and app, a quick tip I learned today was the ability in the iBus app to remove the non-working oil temp value (M54 3.0L) on my iBus app OBC screen by simply press and hold on the value and an add or remove icon appears at the bottom of the screen. Drag it off to the trash can. I also rearranged all the values on my OBC screen to my preferences (left is mileage, consumptions, averages, and right side is dynamic engine values). Just press and hold the values then drag them where you want. I am using iBus app V2.1.3.

Just FYI, the Eonon is not a double-DIN - it's much bigger than a double-DIN. It IS customised to fit your dash cavity perfectly though...

And yes, you'll have to remove a few sections of the existing plastic frame that supported the old Business/Professional CD Player unit (the unit that sat above the MID).

I have the GA9166A installed in a dsp system.... some troubles remaining.
I am waiting for the ibus to get good sound, now I have all " front speakers" subwoofer disconect fiscally because is assuming as a speaker.
As i read ibus will correct it.
I think the rest is ok

what harness did you use with the dsp amp I have 3 that came with mine the 5m ext harness i dont need ... i have one that fits but i am not sure what wires to splice into when i IBUS interface comes in? The 5m ext harness is easy to figure out the harness that plugs into the mid unit cut and splice in the harness only three wires that are there from eonon on that harness

If you are talking about the Eonon V0057 DSP amp, I doubt it - it appears to be a DSP amp that inserts "in-line" with non-DSP equipped systems.
