From what I understand, yes. I think my wife and I will be getting a pair of them for our E53s within the next few months. I'm curious to see what people that have them on backorder right now think after they start installing them over the next few weeks.

Currently on backorder
ETA for the new units with Android 8.0 and 4GB RAM is January 31

Hopefully it will come in the next couple weeks

Also got this for the rear camera from Amazon for $40
NATIKA Backup/Front View Camera
I think its similar to Crowz and Ob's setup

I have paid less than that for 2 radios with cables and iBus interface. Could nearly get 3. Of course, I have 3 other cars that need them, so my budget concerns are a bit different. $5k in radios could get a whole different car.

Of course, it'd need a radio.

I am hoping to get mine soon as well. I ordered 12/2 so been waiting a while. The communication with Avin has been challenging but hope to get this all up and running without any issues. Your rear camera looks very similar to Crowz and mine but ours is made my Chuanganzhuo. Keep us updated on your progress.

I dunno. May not apply to Android radios. Lots of success from my own experience and others has been well discussed.

But I generally do agree with the colloquialism. I certainly apply it to the parts that keep the thing running. I chose Android for a phone for the same reason I chose the other radios. More open and customizable. But I like to tinker with tech.

That and there's ZERO potential I'll fill 5 Bimmers with $1000 radios. I like the idea of having something different in them so I can fiddle. I'll probably put that one in my 540 that Crystalworks did. It's the best looking one I've seen.

If he'd just GET BZ on it!
