beautiful x5. IMO e53's are getting to the point where they are not really "worth" selling. you've spent so much effort (and $$) getting it to where it's at now. you'd be losing too much.

if you really want something else (and have the space for it), get something else in addition to instead of replacing. like you said, its paid off. but that's just my opinion. good luck with whatever you decide
I think you'll regret it too... not many SUVs come out the box for such a low price that handle like an E53... mines got some suspension mods so I may be a bit biased, but god I just love how the car feels. GLWS.

It depends on what ‘gets you’ I reckon. I had an e60 2007 m sport 540 and I loved it. Hands down the best car I’ve ever owned. Had a favourite corner where you could just boot it and it would exit like a rocket ship. After 5 years it only had 25,000 km on the clock and I foolishly sold it and bought an X6. The X6 didn’t last 5months before I hated it and moved it on....

Have regretted selling my 540 ever since.

To answer last 3 posts, I'm quickly loosing desire to sell it. It's matter of simple economics, I'd probably have to take $20K loan and I hate loans. I guess it's like cold, it'll pass. Thank you all for the comments.

I think you made the right decision. Also, where is the fun in having a plain Jane e70? Many more of those on the roads than our iS models.
