I read a report this morning that the late model BMW 4 cylinder engines are having problems with the EGR cooling system resulting in fires. 1.6 million vehicles around the world to be recalled.

This happened to my in laws' Yukon. One of the light fixtures had a slow short overnight, and the fuse didnt blow but the fixture melted most of the plastic in the car. Soon as they opened the door the next morning all the carpet caught fire.
