Makes me think truck nuts when I see stuff like that. Reminds me of the truck owners who run the mega wide wheels in the rear with super low offsets so they stick out 10" past the fenders. Not my bag.

Maybe but having tiny wheels on an X5 doesn't look good to me, like a fat girl wearing flip-flops.

Agreed. Now I need to buy spacers for when I have the Winter setup on.

I would start with a lowering kit. That will help fill the wheel wells and lower the center of gravity for better handling. If that doesn't get the look you want I would purchase spacers to set the wheels out. I wouldn't go so far that tires stick out past the fenders. If you go too far the tires will be throwing debris up on the fenders. Spacers will also help fill the wheel wells and improve handling because of the wider stance. Suggest the spacers that bolt in place and come with longer lug bolts. Lowering and/or spacers will change alignment so you will need to have that done. An offset difference on the new rims will also change alignment.

Thanks for the input but, as for lowering spring. I am looking at the H & R wheels spacer is not an option as my tires all the way to the fender. As for alignment needed after wider tires I'm not sure.
