Might be worth checking in your case. I'm fairly sure it defaults to LCMIII.

I just installed the new Resler USB IBUS interface and the updated app. The setting was already on LCMIV but still no oil temp. I've placed an order for the Vemo oil level sensor from FCPEuro. It's actually more expensive than BMW OEM  .

Hopefully it'll show the oil temp - fingers crossed. If not, at least I will get my money back. I'll just do a quick swap (without actually installing it in the sump) and see if it registers oil temp.
