Headlight problem after EuroClear conversion on a 2004 4.4

I installed euro clear headlights from rover active on my 04 4.4 recently and i thought everything was fine with the install but tonight i was following a friend somewhere and he called me from his cell and told me my passenger side headlight looked like it was aimed higher than my drivers side headlight and it looked like the pass side had a highbeam on and the driverside had a low beam on.

So i went home pulled up strait to my garage door about 5 feet away and noticed the pass side headlight was pointed higher than the driverside. So i measured from the ground to the center of where the beam was pointing and the driverside headlight is pointing 4 inches lower than the passenger side.

I was wondering if this happened to anyone yet? Also if i did something wrong with the install that caused it and if so how do i adjust it. Or if its not that is there something that is broken or malfunctioning that needs to be replaced like the self leveling system in the headlight. Please help, it looks really bad and the pass side light is like blinding people im behind.

normally, the driver side HL's light cutoff is suppose to be lower than the passenger to avoid blinding the oncoming traffic......the exact measurement? somebody on this board should know it

Hey there,
Just did this mod on my 2004. I had to re-aim my lights. there are vertical and horiz. adjusters on the units, easily reached with a phillips. Look up euro clear in the search here, and theres a few threads about it, also, a great headlight aiming article on the Daniel Stern lighting websight. (look it up on google) I followed those instructions and mine now look great!! Good luck.

i searched euroclear and nothing came up. I also searched the articles and there is nothing saying on how to aim your headlights.
B-A-R How do i adjust them Where are .these philips head screws i need to find To aim them properly

Also i just checked my owners manual. and when i got to the section where it tells you how to aim your headlamps properly it says "For checking and adjusting headlamp aim, please contact your BMW sports activity vehicle center"
What kind of bullshit is that. What if i dont feel like making and appointment dropping off my vehicle for a day and then picking it up and paying them to do it. Does BMW think we are stupid. I just want to know how to do it myself.
By the way do you think tjey will charge me or will this be covered under warranty since i changed the headlights myself.

I'm not sure about that one. Both sides of my lights have the same cut-off. It looks something like this

Search. The pass light is at the normal height for optimum light dispersion. The driver side light is few degrees lower to prevent the blinding of oncoming traffic. It's been discussed before; this is how it's supposed to be from the factory.

If you open your hood and look from the top of the headlight assembly, there should be two plastic knobs (mine are white) with an indentation for your phillip screwdriver. One of the knob is for adjusting the horizontal position and the other is for the vertical position (I can't remember which is which...but you should be able to see your headlight aim position change as you turn those knobs. I did have to take several tries to get them aiming properly.

The adjustment knobs are circled on the attached picture, which was taken on the passenger side.
