I had to re-adjust the aim after installing those lights also. Pretty straight forward. Where're the pics dude?

By the way how far away from a flat wall do i have to be to properly adjust the aim of the headlights. The farthest i can get is about 6ft from a wall in my garage. i cant use the garage doors from the outside because my driveway is a slope. but can i still use the danielstern.com instructions and aim hieghts if im only 6ft from a wall.

Sorry about the pics i will post them soon. But my X is filthy i want to get it washed first.

What I did wasn't rocket science... and yup 6ft sounds about right. Also what I did was after adjusting I drove it in a dark road to see where the beam falls on the road or against buldings inorder to see how high the beams are. Did this a couple times to get it right (according to me ). So far no flashing from oncoming motorist.

Six ft will get you in the ballpark, but to properly adjust them you need to be 25 ft. away. Go find a warehouse wall tonight somewhere and follow dan's instructions. Make sure the ground is level as well. (auto-leveling on the lights will throw off the aim adjustments) Bring a flashlight and a phillips, some masking tape to make the marks on the wall, etc.....b

I will try that tonight. But one more question do i have to remove anything in order to get to the aim adjustment screws. I was wondering because i figured maybe the airfilter box may be in the way or something.

Nope....there are holes big enough for the screwdriver to fit. Use a flashlight, you'll see what i mean....b
