I removed the gas pedal as the schematic above 3 picture. There are 6 pins on the pedal and looks like 2 potentiometers. I'm thinking resistance moves up and down increasing and decrease the voltage which is the signal to the dme.
I tried to measure resistance at the 6 pins on the pedal and the resistance stayed the same. I think I'm gonna replace the gas pedal. |

Thank for the reply...
I checked the resistance at the pins listed above and got no change when the gas pedal was pressed. I'm thinking it's bad. Is the gas pedal common part that breaks on x5? |

I was looking at this page on inpa and it displays the pedal voltages. Looks like it 2 sensors 5 v signals. When the pedal is pressed the voltage response to one of the voltages. But the other sensor stays at 5v never moves

Ok tried a new gas pedal got the same results. Now the fun begins.😃
I guess next is to check at the connect on the gas pedal for voltage. Any other suggestions would be great... |
