Is there a way to turn off mirror ducking when backing up?

I find the dip function perfectly useless. It literally points at what you just ran over.

I set a preset in my 3 position that is the same as 1 but with both mirrors dipped but about half what the factory design is. Now i can use useful dipped mirrors on demand only when I need and much less wear and tear on the motor.

I keep the selector switch set to passenger side to prevent the useless factory dip.
