Vibration While Accelerating
Hey guys,
I'm starting to notice a slight vibration while accelerating (when the car is moving). You can definitely feel it on the steering wheel, pedals and see the side view mirror shake. Now, when I have the X in neutral (while the vehicle is in motion...highway speeds)and rev the X, you do not feel it. Only while the vehicle is in motion and in gear. I checked underneath, and everything seems ok (guibo, bushings, etc). I did find a torn right outer CV boot, and have bought a new half shaft, but I do not think that is the problem. That, and I do not suspect the tires to be out of balance, since the vibration only occurs while accelerating. Within the past six months, I've replaced the transfer case (thanks BMW ) drivers side hald shaft, lower ball joints, sway bar end links and the wishbones. Again, all the other bushings seem ok.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, the X has a manual gearbox. Daniel
