The X5 has been doing it's thing, after over 8 weeks of waiting the left side cat came in and was fitted, no more rattle!

I had 2 engine codes; cam sensor P0011 which seems persistent and an O2 sensor alarm P0155. I'm guessig the camshaft sensor is still throwing a CEL, car runs well except a bit of a resonance around 4k. Mechanic said a new chain might be a bit tight giving the code... not sure.

One thing that is bugging me is (I think) the secondary air pump. On startup I can hear it and after a bit it turns off and I can enjoy the lovely V8 grumble.
However, when the car is warm it seems the pump is running almost continous at lover rpm. It might be smething else as well but seems very similar. One thing I was suspecting was the check valve, leaking and pushing exhaust back in the pump... would be a lot though? Also I can imagine the engine will start running crap with exhaust being pushed back into the intake
