Suspension height question

Hello, I have been trying to find out if I can change the height on my rear air suspension on the 4.6is and I had just replaced the right airbag because it was leaking. I also replaced the rear level sensor and its still showing the code with the suspension inactive code to go along with it. Everytime I tried to reset it, just comes back and lights up again. I heard something about calibrating it?? I wonder who would do that these days on these older cars. What I have been doing lately is taking the air out of the lines and then resetting the compressor code and letting the air back up to the specific height I wanted it and then disconnecting the compressor plug so the air stops coming in, then keeping it at that level. I tried that today with the new air bag and the height seems to be still going down on both sides, Its winter here and maybe the air wont stay too long but I wonder if theres a leak somewhere else in the system???

I guess its better to just recalibrate the system to the ride height preferred, then to just keep doing what Im doing, or maybe just get coils and just delete the air ride..

Just for now though I wonder if I can clear the rear right level sensor code that keeps coming back even if I changed the sensor. Does it need to be calibrated? Also if I do what ive been doing and just taking all the air out of the back then raising it up to the level I like, then disconnecting the air compressor plug and keeping it at that level. The question there is how long should it stay at that height I put it at? how fast normally would air start to die out of it?

thanks
