NavCoder iBus - Help Needed

Hey folks, new poster here.

I have an 04 Range Rover, basically a 2004 BMW X5 4.4 with a Land Rover skin. I installed LEDs in my turn signals (front + back) and now they’re hyperflashing. I bought the NavCoder license to turn off the “hot and cold bulb check” monitoring function. I successfully uncheck marked all the hot and cold monitoring but my hyper flashing still exists. I removed a fog light bulb to see if the LCM even got coded, and I got no warning lights so the LCM did indeed get coded, but just the signal lights didn’t? Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Any and all help is appreciated, thank you.

If you pulled the buld and didn't get the bulb warning then it sounds like you coded out the hot check, not the cold check. The cold check is what causes the flickering at power up. I use PA Soft 1.4.

Hey overboost, thanks for the reply. Yes I unchecked the warm and cold function on the fog light bulb. Hence why I didn’t get any error messages, but this was just a test to see if my coding was actually working successfully.

The main issue is the signal lights. I was able to code the “cold” function off but not the “warm” function as that box is greyed out for me. The weird thing was when I hovered over the front signal light check box it gave me a weird description that reads “Lng. Text 1310.2 not found”. But hovering over any other check box and it would give a proper description, not sure if this is an important detail.
Currently, every thing in the LCM is unchecked and it the hyper flash still exists.

So at a total loss as to why the bulb monitoring keeps working even after I’ve disabled everything. And the worst of it all is, when I start the vehicle fresh, the indicator blinks normally for like 2 blinks and then starts hyperflashing again, which clearly means that the bulb monitoring is still working.

Is it possible to use PA Soft 1.4 through the USB iBus interface? Or do I have to go through the OBD port?

Honestly I have never used Navcoder so I can't tell you if it works or not.

I can tell you that PA Soft 1.4 works so I would suggest investing the $15 and giving it a try.
