A resistor and transistor connected to module (board) internal ground. A rough representation of a load and signal transfer.

The bar could be anything. The transistor and bar symbol mean there are some electronics and give rough idea of what's going on.

I'm having a hard tire figuring out how the heated steering wheel works.
Is there a way to program it to heat up to higher temperature ? |

The only option I've ever heard of regarding coding it is some cars you can have it come on below a certain ambient temp. I've never seen a temp option such add the seats have. Certain cars you can code the temp levels of the three stay heat options. I don't think the wheel even has a thermistor to keep track

I'm not a pro with diagrams but was wondering if there's a way to replace the modulated signal to the heating element with a constant power supply when pressing the button

The steering wheel doesn't seem as warm in warmer weather but it's fine when it is cold. This should probably be in it's own thread.
