2004 X5 3.0 Blower problems
Blower won’t work at all. Checked fuses ok. Replaced FSR same thing nothing front or rear blower. Do you guys know if there is a blower relay at all or just the FSR before I order a blower motor? Thanks |

Have a look at CN90 excellent write-up on testing the blower for an E39 via the FSU connector.
It is very likely the same wiring for an E53. https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=716322 |

i didn't know both blowers ran from FSU, but if neither runs it's not the motor it's control or wiring. Do you have a 2nd level scanner like fowell; you can command a motor on to determine if it's the head unit or something else.

FSR failure did not prevent my rear blower from operating. Something else is going there.

Front and rear blower each have their own FSR, BTW.
