Getting ready to sell 4.8is

Well the time has come, almost, to say goodby to my favorite vehicle of the too many I’ve owned, and also the one I’ve owned the longest. We are moving and won’t have space for it, and the new environment is constant salt (beach) so it will suffer more than I can bear.

I will be posting an ad soon for the X5 4.8is. It doesn’t really need anything, but if I could keep it I would get the paint (top surfaces) wet sanded and re-clear coated, because of some water spot type damage (I think it was from exposure to acid rain near a power plant), refinish the wheels (when it is time for new tires), and replace the nav with Avin just for fun.

It is just shy of 170,000 miles, BSM exterior and black sport interior. Does not have the sliding cargo floor or a hitch, but otherwise pretty well equipped. Probably ask $5k unless guidance here suggests something different. I will post an ad in the classifieds with more detail and pictures as soon as I can get it out and cleaned up.
