Now is the hard part of locating some that are well priced.

Best so far is Canadian Tire...$377 for 315s. With a Military discount.

Just no stock...8 weeks out from Michelin. Apparently, Michelin has been hit hard due to Covid. Or they are focusing their distributor order fills in the lower 48 first.

What are the issues with run flats? Weight? Inertial mass tonget rolling and stop?
They drive like wagon wheels compared to a regular tire, at least to me.

Have you tried looking online? I've come across good pricing shipped right to your door.

Did you check in 1010tire ? they're based in Richmond
Apparently Costco has stock for 315 and 275 in 20s.

So I'll take the wheels in to get done. Limit the exposure, if Costco is a service issue.

I have a large spare, not full size, but enough that run flat is not required.

Glad to hear the AS4 can really perform. Seems like it's worth waiting for if required.

...how is the M62tu for oil starvation on lateral Gs? I suspect there is a lot of spare volume due to the large pan capacity.

With staggered size, I only get a 35k km treadwear warranty.

That may be the best reason to run 315s on all 4 corners.

Rear 87s are only $500 ea to source.

How have people found the benefit of 315s on the front axle?

Achilles Desert Hawk UHP - I found these at Walmart.com of all places $425 shipped to the house. Did some research, folks had nothing but good things to say on X5s and other heavy trucks/ SUVs. I hesitantly pulled the trigger and I must say - WOW. While I haven't put a whole lot of miles on them with Covid and all, by god they feel stable, planted and quite for $400...even if I can only get 20K miles out of them, for $400 figured it was worth a shot - if i get more im just in the money. they look fantastic on my 4.6is - couldnt be more happy for $400 + $100 installed.

I am with you and made a similar decision with 315 35 20 Cosmos tires for a budget tire setup. I wouldn't expect a Bridgestone, Michelin or any big tire brand fan to even consider this kind of option. I'd definitely try the Achilles tires after I see how long the Cosmos ones last but I love them so far, especially for the price...
