E53 4.8is Front Diff Preload Setting

Hiya's,

No good telling you all of my tales of woe ..........

I fubared and hit my passenger side diff case (USA etc Drivers side) where drive shaft goes in the seal, i have lost so much hearing i didn't hear shaft pop out and clouted her again, of cause i put a small crack in the cast case as the pry bar had nowhere else to go except inwards into case lol

I have all the tooling to add a new diff i got, i have a rebuild kit and all seals etc for the swap

Thing is, i've been searching over a week without success for the crush sleeve preload

I've found the spec for the rear diff but not the front

At worst i thought checking preload on replacement diff before i strip but actual preload figure/s be great

Going doolally searching the net lol

Any help/specs be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Tony
