SLS inactive/TMPS/ABS light on after 2005 4.8is air conversion

Hi new to this forum.

Any help would be great.

I bought a x5 4.8is 2005 with the air suspension fault. I changed the rear air sus to a conversion which i bought on ebay. The front came from a 2003 4.6is. All fitted in without issues. I also purchased the 1.4.0 scanner from ebay to delete the error on the dash. However after deleting the error from the lcm on the scanner, it still came up with the error sls inactive followed by max 35mph. I was told to undo the ehc 2 module (behind glovebox) to remove the error. After removing the plug from the module the sls error went away however its now got the abs, the tmps fault on the dash. Any ideas how to remove the errors so i can have a light free dash?

Thanks in advance.

Read through this thread - this is not an easy task, but it is doable.

Thanks for the link.

Can anyone get a write up of how to delete the ehc2?

Step by step guide including what software to download?

All i have is the 1.4.0 scanner.

Thanks.

Yea, I considered pulling my rear air... but then I read everything I could find on the topic and quickly determined that it was easier to just go with the H&R rear links... "That's a no shitter" for sure!
