I could not find confirmation that code was for sas. Every search I did came up with replace yaw sensor fixed the problem.
Can you read real-time yaw sensor data to confirm if the values are logical or possible reset/calibrate (BMW says calibration is a one time after replace thing but I would try to recalibrate mine if I already got to the point I was going to replace anyhow)

I don't use the software/laptop method so I can't help but look for the yaw sensor and confirm if the values are proper

It'd be great if pictures were posted of the SAS values reporting nominal values...
But anyway, Well, start looking for things that make sense why it would throw that code. It's been suggested to check other things too. Did you check to verify what values the YAW rate sensor was reporting? Do they seem logical? What about when you jolt the car? I like to sit in my sport seats and jolt around. Usually the YAW sensor can pick up some of this acceleration. Here's a really nice image showing everything the DSC (ABS) has going to it for conceptual purposes.

The yaw sensor is a very, very expensive item (around $700). Verify sas is ok (physically) as it's also a likely culprit. There's a rebuild kit for sas and its cheapo.

I tried looking for the rebuild kit that had the brushes...and it was 3/4th the cost of a new SAS. I was looking on ebay...where is this "cheapo" brush rebuild kit?
