LED tail lights question
Does this mean at the back I would need like 8 resistors if I switch to LED bulbs on stock housing? 4 on each side? What is the difference between using resistors and turning off cold monitoring? |

The difference is that resisters are eliminating the biggest improvement of three led: you drop the power requirement 90% switching to led then you add a resistor to take ten times the power so the car thinks an inefficient bulb is still there. Makes no sense also they can be as hot as a soldering iron.
I put led in my rear turn signals and didn't code so they blink fast. I'm quite used to the fast blink and I like that I get three quick blinks for a quick lane change. The proper way is to code out the test.
