Seems legit. For <$40 worth a shot. Guess it's just a resler clone. But who knows. I'll be ordering 2 of them if resler is no longer making them. Never know when I'll pick up an e46, e39, or another e53...

Looks decent enough. I like their T-stat mod box. Too bad they don't make it for the N62.

I have the Resler and it works, but it is buggy. It only opens half of the time on it's own and likes to take control of the HU and stay on app.

I have that 10" screen Xtrons and it's nice. The built in microphone sucks.

I finally figured out why my head unit isn’t working. The BM53 module is not communicating or is dead. Does anyone know if this module is used with an android aftermarket head unit? Or can I just scrap it?

Not used when installing an Android unit. Amplifier is (if equipped) but not bm53.

Ahh. Ok. What does the extended wiring harness everyone talks about connect to?

If you have factory nav it connects the head unit to the radio in the rear.

Really? But the new head unit has a radio in it (in the dash). Doesn't the 6m extension connect the new head unit's speaker outputs etc.to the speaker wiring in the trunk (boot) - not to the old radio unit (BM53).

Sorry, you're correct. I misspoke. It connects to the speaker wiring.
