Transmission slip in manual mode second gear
Hi guys,
Towing a jet ski (or towing anything for that matter), I use manual mode to better control the gears. Only in second (from what I can tell) and pretty consistently, I get a pulsing/surging/slipping in the low revs. Trans fluid/filter/reset was done about 25,000km ago and about 125,000km before that and about 50,000km before that. I've towed plenty with it before with my track car and open trailer and no issues. Any thoughts on what it could be or what to look for when I diagnose? It isn't going into limp mode or throwing anything on the dash. I'll plug in today or tomorrow and see if any codes are being thrown. Thanks!
