You can sometimes clean the SAS wiper by sweeping full lock a few times (for sake of your tires do while moving slowly or on sand).
Pull up the real-time angle and observe also you can actually calibrate where is zero it may resolve your out of balance situation. Odds are your SAS is on its last days but often they can have a little more life brought into them with a good cleaning. Also there is a kit to replace the brushes that wear out on eBay for less than half the price of a replacement SAS. Ive had the error come up about 3 times on my '01 and recently a buddy of mine's 540. I drove about a block at a walking pace steering lock to lock to scrub the SAS and the error stayed off for a week now but we know the SAS is not long for this world.

One example. You can find just the brushes for as little as $8. –awr–

Thanks. Are the brushes the only stooze to go in that sensor or is there something else?
And could my fall with the right dot into the hole have caused something to move into the dot so that the light came on or was it just a coincidence that the light came on tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The logical connection between the big hole would be a substantial g-force shock to the SAS that was near end of life.
The higher end brush kits include a 3d printed brush holder but $90 is steep. Also the knock off sensors are about $75-100 and it's not a mission critical part so it falls in the could use non OEM parts category

I will try to do the calibration as you wrote me, so if the problem happens again, I will order brushes. Another problem I have had since I bought it is that the air conditioning compressor and fan will not start breathing when I turn on the A / C button. the car must be at operating temperature (90 degrees) and I have to give a little more gas once (over 3000 rpm) and then the compressor and fan turn on and everything still works normally

Look into the aux fan function regarding the ac.

The aux fan starts normally when the engine is at operating temperature and I squeeze the throttle over 3000 rpm once. I still tried to unplug the "pressure switch presostat" and test the aux fan and it starts working at top speed so I think it's correct?

That's a good test of the fan.
Can you confirm when the AC clutch kicks on either from visual/sound feedback under the hood or combined with scanner that shows it engage. My bet is the clutch engages but the variable compression is causing the problem.
