DSC 4x4 light, no response control module

Just wanted to report back that this solved the issue for now. I just went out this morning. Started the car started to turn the steering wheel left and right it only took like two times from left to right side and the DSC light went away.

So is this an indicator that my steering angle sensor is going bad??

It's crazy that the steering angle sensor if it's in a implausible state that it can cause the DSC module to not be communicable.

I've seen DSC communication issues where doing a battery nap restores communication so if that hasn't been done yet, it's worth a shot. For the SAS issue I'd say monitor it and see if the light ever pops back on and go from there...
