wouldnt know how it was done dude
 , dave @ custom angel eyes installed the entire new headlight assembly for me when i ordered the angel eyes. i guess sending in my oem headlight unit and adding on the AEs wasnt an option...you mite try asking him but dont know if he'll let u in the "secret"?? screen name topazdave on bimmerfest.
