Resetting steering angle is not a coding exercise. It is to re-calibrate the DSC to work with its sensors. Just did this on my friends Accord and it is merely so that the car knows what the dead ahead position is.
My two versions of INPA (one on a desktop installed 2016, one on a laptop from 2020) seem to only allow reading DTCs and some live data, nothing else. Anyone have different experience?

Moment of truth
The used but not too bad looking module showed up today.
I can install it right now…… or send if off the Module Masters for a warranty overhaul. Since my back is killing me this week, I’m tempted to ship it off. If the trifecta will disappear and I can get a state inspection, then I’m more inclined to put it in. WWOGD? What Would Outpost Guys Do

Hahaha, SO true!! Last time I called for a quote to get the cracked windshield replaced, the car promptly punished me with an ABS failure.... it likes the broken screen! Now I leave the cracked glass alone to stave off any other worse problems, there always has to be one thing to fix on an e53 it seems :-)

ABS dates of manufacturing
I compared the defective module against my replacement module.
They are less than 1 month apart. Both are from X5. If I bolt this in, what dash lights will be lit? Should I just bolt that sucker in place? Not having any luck with a local BMW coding person.

Why can't you just buy pa soft and do it yourself? Takes like 5 minutes to change the vin and reset the module with it.
