Suitable scanner

Hello everyone,
I am in Australia and in need of a suitable scanner to clear SAS, ABS and DSC warning lights. These came about because the instrument cluster was replaced. No codes with the old cluster. Cluster was replaced because of pixel issues.
The vehicle in question is a 2003 X5 diesel E53, built date 08/2003.
I have watched a couple of YouTubes using the Icarsoft i910 scanner.
When I questioned the supplier in Australia (AZSCANNERS), they informed me it would not work on an Australian car and needed to purchases a Vident i730 for $975. Admittedly the You Tubes are on UK vehicles.
They have a Vident i400 but refuse to guarantee it will work.
Has anybody had any experience using a scanner that will clear the codes. I don't know anything about scanners other then a generic one which works on a Japanese car does not want to communicate with the X5.
I cannot tell if AZSCANNERS are simply trying to sell me a more expensive unit the what I need.
Thank you,
Larry
PS: Don't have a laptop I can use. It has to be a stand alone unit already loaded with software for BMW. Not looking to use on any other vehicles.

If your IKE was replaced, then I would get PA Soft 1.4 so you could write your vin and code properly.

Foxwell $150
PA Soft 1.4 $15

Pretty easy decision

*EDIT* I saw your last sentence and see you don't have a computer. You are left with a Foxwell as a stand alone unit. Pony up the $150.

Who doesn't have a laptop these days???

Thanks Overboost.
I have a desktop (Mac), I am retired and my disposal income is limited. I don't have a laptop because 90% or more of my requirements are achieved using the desktop. Anyways it's all good. Also $150 works out $299 AUD + freight. This is from the only supplier in Australia

I bought my barely used Panasonic Toughbook on fleaBay for $75. I use it for INPA and PA Soft 1.4 exclusively on my BMWs. That used laptop and PA Soft 1.4 is still cheaper than the Foxwell NT. Up to you.

I also own a Foxwell NT, great tool but honestly the only thing I needed it for was to reset the transfer case clutch adaptations which INPA and PA soft 1.4 couldn't do.

Can the foxwell write vins to the IKE? If not, then the foxwell is NOT a viable solution to actually fix the cluster properly. I would expect the tamper dot to be on until the vin in the IKE matches the one in the EWS.

Yes the tamper dot is on. Not a huge issue as I have the old cluster and took photos of the mileage. More a case of getting rid of the codes.
