Phone holders

RAM prob late 90s. Very strong very stable and infinitely variable.

Here's my solution. The circle is a mag safe compatible mount plus charger for wireless charging.

This of course is e70 variant.

Apparently Proclip goes back to the late '90s. However, Proclip is basically a Brodit reseller, and Brodit goes back to 1983. So...

I've looked at RAM mounts periodically, and they've never offered anything usable IMO. It's not really infinitely variable when they explicitly don't offer your minimum requirements at all.

ProClip has finally updated pictures!

The LLKUANG is temping to try. It should fit the X5. The vents are slightly larger.

Phone holders

LLKUANG 360-Degree Rotary Cell Phone Holder Mobile Phone Mount for BMW X5 E70 X6 E71 E72 2008-2013 (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JLL2GVG...KSKMQXGY?psc=1

That's the one I have and it's unbeatable. It was a little loose but it came with some little rubber pads that worked perfectly to tighten it up. It looks like from the factory.

I use with a magsafe charger I ended up combining with the mounting cup from this holder: glued with PC•11 epoxy.

Did you use one on the old X5?

I had the type that suctions to the dash. I put the disc that comes with on the dash directly to the right of the steering wheel. It hovered the phone just inches away from the steering wheel

Wow! Does it still work? GSM tech is outdated.

My '21 Ram and '08 Acadia both have ProClip holders. They fit my phone with a hard protector really well. My only complaint is over time, the swivel holder screw has to be tightened back down a bit.

hell no, I wish there was an aftermarket tray so I could convert that space into usuable storage. You'd think some nerd with a 3D printer would print something up for that....

hmm, I have a big 3D printer at work just no software
