Where are you at with your issue right now?
Figuring out where to plug the bypass module?
Look under the seat, towards the back of the seat. There's a connector that's the same as the module you bought. Easiest would be to remove the seat, it's a bit tricky with the seat in the car but can be done.
Disconnect that connector and connect this little contraption. Plugs in directly.
Clear the errors and your light should be off.

I can see where that goes, but not the purpose or placement of the "jumper" with the diode...

Attachment 81799....
Perhaps it is not needed on mine, being an early model, or maybe it goes into the seatbelt circuit, to prevent a buzzer going off. I see that other emulators come with a two-wire jumper, but it's not obviously a diode (maybe it's a resistor inside?) like the one that came with my purchase. Here's a listing for a stand-alone seatbelt jumper:

You probably don't need what you posted in the last picture.

If I had to guess it's to override the seat buckle switch. So you don't get a constant seatbelt alarm

I guess I'll see, after I plug in the bypass, whether I'll actually need to silence an alarm. I've never heard a sound from anything yet, even when I triggered flashing lights (once). Maybe my X is a mute?

My e53 was missing one of the dashboard buzzers and I didn't get a warning for a couple things like door open key in.

I just finished installing the "seat occupancy mat emulator" that you recommended to me; it was a bit difficult to squeeze myself into a position where I could see what I was doing (septuagenarian, 220+lbs, bad back, bad knees...the usual excuses), but it's done.

I started up the Foxwell NT510 E to clear the seat/airbag code, and there was no buzzer or alarm, so I didn't need the jumper, nor the false seatbelt plug I have. The light is now gone from the dash.

But, after your comment above, I wondered if I was missing a "dashboard buzzer", so I re-inserted the key, jiggled it a bit, and the buzzer sounded-off (door was open). I wonder if it has been active all along, and just needed a jiggle to set off, or has it been buzzing all along. I very rarely open the door without the key in my hand, and if I'm working on the truck, then it doesn't matter.
