High Beam Lights Not Working! ☹️
The high beams on my 2003 X5 4.6is have not been working in some time. My mechanic has looked at it multiple times and can't seem to source a problem. I went to have an annual inspection and because they aren't working, I won't be able to pass an inspection. No pass inspection, no pass GO, and no new registration. Has anyone else had this problem and is there an error code the diagnostic tool should be throwing to help source the problem?

Are they getting power?
Do you have power going to the lamps? If so then it's either a short to ground or blown lamps. If none of the above then it's most likely a fault in your LCM. Everything above should have a code showing and error, but using a generic scanner could possibly skip over the fault making it look like there are no codes. Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk
