The saga continues Trans Failsafe Error and No Start

BMW X5 E53 N62 2006

All this was my orig post. Starting a new thread.

The car was back to normal for 2 weeks and then now the trans failsafe error is back along with not starting. When it last started I was able to pull code using INPA software.

D358 – Can message/egs-error: gearbox – message egs1(ID 0x43f) absent rcv. No signal or value.

Hoping somebody can help point me in the right direction on where/how to start investigating. Thanks!
