Total Coolant Capacity for 2005 4.4i Automatic

Anyone know the actual coolant capacity for 2005 4.4i model?


I want to drain out ONLY from the radiator (not draining from the engine block because the hassle) & flush a few times with deionized water (have access from lab).


I need to know how much pure coolant to pour in 1st so it will mix with the water in engine block to reach 50:50 ratio. Then top off with mixed coolant again.



A few posts mentioned that it is about 2gal; 8.4L; 12.5L
