X5 at Pick'N Pull - how to move the power seat?
The car is at Pick'N Pull and I would like to get the seats, but I can't get to the rear bolt. I am thinking of bringing a small 12V battery but I am not sure to which pin to connect to. The power module on the side of the seat is gone. Thank you in advance! |

if the controller on the side of the seat is gone, you're going to have to directly power the seat motor.

I have a spare controller here I could bring with me. Would you know which pins then to use? Last edited by syncrocrick; 09-12-2022 at 12:17 PM. |

Looking at seat harnesses on eBay, looks like the X5 is red/brown and brown.

I usually hook up right at the main battery terminals first.
Maybe I've been lucky but that's always worked, except when people steal the fuses but that's an easy fix. |
