Then i dont understand, its the same part number, in that case it wasnt changed at all? I do see a difference that since 2003 though #38 a bump stop was added to the latch.

I have an 01' 4.4 that is recovering from a deer to the windshield and I want to fix the sunroof while it is there. How does this felt go on? Any photos? I am going to have my buddy install a new cassette while he spends 10 hours on the roof.

These are the two stops on the top trunklid itself?
Or the two round bottom bumps that screw into the body? |

I put it on the the two round bumps that screwed to the body. It actaully works. No more rattle!!! Cost me $3 at homedepot. I bought the 3/4 inch one..

These are felts that goes underneath furniture legs so it won't scratch the floor. Ask anyone at the homedepot and they will show you..
