Parking brake - hold-down pin - rear brake shield
Hi there
I just did rear pads and rotors. on the right rear, I noticed the hold down pin part # 34406794950, was bent, had fallen out and was loose inside the rotor. I tried to straighten it and reinsert it into the corresponding hole in the brake backing shield and it appears the hole has rusted and enlarged so it won't hold the hold-down pin. I am thinking I'll get a new backing shield, cut it so I don't have to remove axle and hub and put it all back together... Anybody have a better idea? .jpg)
