I decided to just bite the bullet and remove the front diff to have proper access for both inspection and repairs.
I was able to remove the differential without touching the subframe at all. It barely came out, but it did.
I have a few pictures here, to completely and confidently exclude anytning eating from OFHG, oil pan gasket etc.

Now the leak has been found, it's exactly between left top and bottom bolts. There's cracks everywhere that need to be patched up.
I'll probably just cover the whole side of the oil pan and put the epoxy everywhere I can reach, as I really don't want to do this job again.
I'm glad there's no other leaks at least.

Wow! Was your truck ever in a crash? That's weird having cracks like that in the pan.

Nothing particular that I can remember. Maybe I or the previous owner went over something, curb, snowbank, ice, and smacked the oil pan on something.

I was only now able to track it down because the car was definitely neglected when I bought it, and I've been chipping away slowly at all the problems and all the oil leaks.
I can't believe if I fix this crack that I'll have no more leaks, but this is the only place I found to be leaking.
Can't wait to have no more leaks and clean garage floor and driveway lol!

It's a great feeling when you get the last leak stopped! Only to be challenged by another leak. Like me. Like a leaking coolant hose and then a cracked coolant reservoir. It never stops with these trucks.

Just replace all cooling components with OEM parts so they don't break one by one and keep you coming back to fix them. Fix them all at once and you'll be set for like 10 years or so!

I just did everything but the tank because I had only replaced it about 18 months ago. Thankfully I bought the last tank from FCP, so the replacement is "free".

That's really suspicious for the reservoir to last that little, I'd make sure the coolant level is full and that it doesn't overheat, but it sounds like you know what you're doing.

I think I covered all the spots I could, I hope it won't leak now lol

Fortunately no pressure. If cleaned with brake clean should work for 10-20k miles. Should have sanded also but it'll likely hols back the oil.

I'd have changed the pan. I'm afraid you'll hit a bump and 4" section will fall out!
