Air suspension compressor--Foxwell scanner
Is there a Foxwell scanner that will active the pump or set ride height?

Air suspension compressor--Foxwell scanner
510 and 720. Depends which chassis and how many axles what you'll have access to.
On my e53 rear axle I was able to fine tune the height in mm. (you measure from wheel well to rim feed that back info scanner) On e70 one axle it was automated. You throw 300# in the trunk and press a button take it out press another button. Fortunately for me a set of mounted snow tires is almost exactly 300#. I haven't run the 720 on e53 switched to e70 & f10 before I acquired it. (f10 was the need: 510 won't read the engine module; read everything else). Bimmerlink also works too scan engine I think on F10 but maybe not I think I tried that first. A few people have used the 510 to manually lift the back when not working due to an injured air spring. You can read all the sensor values with the 510 and command the pump on so you can for sure diagnose with it. The 710 is much better interface it's an Android tablet with WiFi so it can rub updates self sufficient. I'm not sure it reads the e53 but if it does that's what I'd get.

I have an older Foxwell scanner that reads everything I have every wanted to know. I also have the 510. With our X5M E70 I can find the height adjustment and can activate the compressor but haven't found how to do either.
Do you know the steps to do the manual lift and command the pump for an E53 using a 510?

First make sure you have the latest software. I can long and see what I have on mine tomorrow.
Unfortunately I don't think I can find the path to the air suspension but it should be in the service main branch. Body sub menu if I can remember. It should be there. I've done it on my 01 e53 and my buddy with same year used his 520 to inflate his air springs every few days until he replaced the leaky spring. It is weird how things are in brewery different places on e70 vs. e53 but I've done air spring maintenance on both with my 510. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

on menu location but be super careful as you can trigger line mode if you go outside of the plausible range and end up with a Zamboni.... ![]() I recommend a yardstick or pvc pipe with a tape mark or just don't have a hormonal pregnant woman in the car!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-A528B using Tapatalk

On our E70 the manual control is in the chassis path. Was easy to find an activate air suspension. I will try the body path. Thanks for input.

Also start in service and look there. Even with older firmware it should have it. It can be quite an Easter egg hunt trying to find these crazy modules.
