My E53 has worn out the bushings in the front suspension thrust arms giving me the classic thump thump when tapping and releasing the brakes. I've crawled under the car and verified the torn bushing on the drivers side. I am looking at the Turner Monoball upgrade for these bushings:
https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...-arm-bearings/ I am wondering if anyone on this forum has used these and what was the result on the driving dynamics. I expect they will lead to a somewhat harsher ride but will also bring better steering response and road feel. The question is: Is it worth the added cost and harsher ride?
I will also be replacing the rear suspension lower control arm (A arm) inner bushings in the near future. Does anyone out there know of monoball (Heim joint) replacements for these? I am presently maintaining proper camber with aftermarket adjustable upper control arms but I want to get back to the stock setup in the rear.
