Discolored yes, but easily passing air through it, like the new one.

I am interested in the topaz fan, just wonder how loud it is and if any of my other components are dead which would cause the fan not to work. I suppose they are likely fine and it is just the fan. I will order one. Thanks.
Thanks for the insight. Happy to not remove the condenser just to make work. Iím sure the condensate material is shot, but itís still blows very cold air. Iím going to look at that topaz fan too. I canít get my electric fan to go above 40-ish%. Even testing it with my foxwell seems like a strange failure mode, or maybe thatís just how itís designed, but either way it gets hit as stink here in the Deep South so Iíd like to know itís working properly.

Why not just replace the aux fan? Itís sad to see these X5ís constantly maintained on a shoe string budget.

New aux fan is in. Now going to button it up. I was able to swap fan in and out without touching the metal bumper. Just needed to remove the aux fan shroud and wiggle things a bit. It's tight but was certainly doable without loosening the metal bumper.

Btw. Shoestring budget keeping the car going reliably is half the fun. Other half the fun is cranking the stock sound system max volume with reggae music on and window open. My favorite thing.
